After getting married, Nick and Suzanne (Ice Cube, Nia Long) start looking for a house in the suburbsā¦ but the place they find needs more work than they can imagine. The sequel to Are We There Yet? (2005) is also a remake of Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House (1948), but it doesnāt take long for us in the audience to wonder if they arenāt done yet. Lots of slapstick, lots of things fall apart loudly, but none of it is funny. John C. McGinley, as a clumsy fixer, desperately tries to give the movie a shot of adrenaline.Ā
