In 1995, rookie FBI agent Jim Fitzgerald (Sam Worthington) is recruited to join the team that’s hunting the Unabomber, a man who’s been mailing bombs to targets all over the country… but Fitzgerald’s unconventional thinking clashes with his superiors. A miniseries that takes us behind the long investigation that ultimately led to the now famous cabin in Lincoln, Montana. Fitzgerald is a real-life person, but here he’s supposed to be a composite character symbolizing several investigators and their contributions. He turns into a cliché, which is a shame because Paul Bettany is very good as Kaczynski and the miniseries is at its best when focusing on him.
