THE MISSION IS A MAN.
In 1942, Lieutenant Aron Stenström (André Sjöberg) and his team cross the Norwegian border to locate two missing Swedish soldiers, one of whom is his brother. A war movie made on the cheap that actually looks pretty good on the surface – but it is the ingredients that don’t need to cost much that disappoint. The story has its thrills, but also far too many clichés, including Germans that look like they came straight out of an old Hollywood movie. None of the leads are memorable and this simple story takes too long to tell.
