THE FAMILY JUST GOT A LITTLE STRANGER.
A nanny (Joan Cusack) is hired to look after the Addams’s newborn, but she has ulterior motives; her first step is to get rid of the other kids by sending them to a hellishly cheerful summer camp. The sequel is just as chock-full of hilarious one-liners as the original, perhaps even more so; that along with the cast is what keeps you enjoying the movie, because once again the story is nothing special. What we have here is essentially a stretched-out sitcom episode, but handsomely produced and very amusing. Hard to pick favorites, but Christine Baranski and Peter MacNicol are brilliant as the perky camp leaders.
