When Darren Silverman (Jason Biggs) decides to marry the exceptionally unpleasant Judith Fessbeggler (Amanda Peet), his two slacker buddies kidnap her and try to change Darren’s mind. Here’s a comedy that’s silly, tasteless, vulgar and a tad embarrassing when it should be funny. But I can’t help liking it a little bit, because Steve Zahn and Jack Black are so cheerfully stupid and there’s a certain enthusiasm coming from everyone involved. Peet plays a character no one could love in real life, and she does succeed in making us hate her guts.
