THEY’RE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR THRILLS, ACTION AND ADVENTURE.

Chris Lecce and Bill Reimers (Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez) are assigned a new stakeout, this time posing as a family together with an abrasive assistant D.A. (Rosie O’Donnell) and her dog. Six years after the original Stakeout came this sequel from the same gang who tried to recreate magic, with a few new touches. The attempt to play family is a silly and good idea, leading to some of the movie’s best moments, especially during a hysterical dinner with the neighbors they’re supposed to be watching. As a whole, very uneven though.
