The Chestnut Man

IF YOU FIND ONE, HE’S ALREADY FOUND YOU.

When a woman is found murdered, detective Naia Thulin (Danica Curcic) and her new partner (Mikkel Boe Følsgaard) discover a potential link to a case where a politician’s daughter disappeared. Based on a story by the man who created The Killing (2007-2012), this miniseries harbors few surprises for anyone who’s ever seen a serial killer thriller in the past 30 years. Everything is familiar, from the creepy tokens left behind by the killer to the detective’s bumbling attempts to have a life outside of work. Still, maintains tension and a suitably eerie autumnal atmosphere throughout; a good cast helps.
