YOU’RE IN FOR A SHOCK.
Lindy (Kate Beckinsale) is struggling with a condition that once made her unable to control her rage, leading to dangerous outbursts of violence; electrical shocks keep her in check as she tries to have a normal life. An action-comedy that desperately tries to find the right tone and balance, offering neither laughs nor tension. As expected, powerful people want to take advantage of Lindy’s condition and there’s an uninspired twist near the end. The supporting cast is wasted.
