When the young heir to a werewolf pack transforms for the first time, he turns into a poodle; humiliated, he runs away and makes friends with a stray dog. This animated adventure, depicting rivalry between dogs and werewolves, might amuse kids who ask for little more than a loud volume. A kind but bland message is tucked into a hopeless story that wants to be The Lion King (and also features an uncomfortably lonely ice-cream vendor for villain).
