An incident in traffic causes a violent man (Russell Crowe) on the run to target Rachel (Caren Pistorius) and her young son (Gabriel Bateman). This thriller begins with a disturbing montage of surveillance cameras capturing a series of actual road-rage incidents. What follows is a sadistic story about a man who reckons he has nothing to lose after murdering his ex-wife, so why not teach another woman a deadly lesson for honking at him. Crowe is frightening to watch; the film is exciting at times, but also distasteful.
