AFTER WORLD WAR II, THE MISSION FOR JUSTICE BEGAN.Ā
In 1960, Israeli agents learn that one of the architects behind the Holocaust, Adolf Eichmann (Ben Kingsley), is hiding in Buenos Aires; a mission is set up to capture him. This version of how Eichmann was finally brought to justice was inspired by Mossad agent Peter Malkinās experiences and how he got close to the Nazi before he could be smuggled out of Argentina. Kingsley is excellent as the charismatic prisoner who excuses his past by believing that all humans are animals anyway; flashbacks show him in his āprimeā, managing mass murders of Jews on the Eastern front. Tension rises near the end; intriguing music score by Alexandre Desplat.
