ALL HE HAD LEFT WAS REVENGE.

Based on an actual event in Germany in 2002 where two planes collided in mid-air, this drama follows two men whose lives are eternally changed – a construction worker (Arnold Schwarzenegger) whose family was on the plane and the air traffic controller (Scoot McNairy) who’s partly responsible for the collision. In real life, the accident had absurd consequences but in this cinematic treatment they’re sort of more realistic and toned down. The filmmakers draw comparisons between the two men’s suffering, which ultimately leads to a confrontation… but there’s not much of a drama here.
