BIG MEETS BIGGER. 

Three animals, an albino gorilla, a crocodile and a wolf, are infected by a mysterious drug and turn into aggressive monsters that grow fast in size; it’s up to primatologist Davis Okoye (Dwayne Johnson) to save Chicago from them. A series of arcade and video games is the inspiration for this 3D blockbuster that spends most of its second half wrecking Chicago in a way that becomes somewhat monotonous. A better sense of humor would have been a boost, along with a less mundane treatment. Johnson does his best to charm us though.
