CHANGE EVERYTHING WITHOUT CHANGING ANYTHING.Â
Renee Bennett (Amy Schumer) is struggling with her dead-end job and lack of confidence when she suddenly hits her head at the gym; after waking up, she believes that she’s turned into a woman who looks like a supermodel. Another comedy where Schumer uses her whole body as a vehicle to generate laughs while also trying to change traditional notions of beauty and boost women’s sense of self-worth. No big laughs, even if Schumer is ideal in the lead; the formula doesn’t live up to its potential. Michelle Williams is hilarious though as a girly cosmetics heiress.
