PRAY SHE DOESN’T ANSWER.
Believing her friend was taken by a witch they conjured, teenager Chloe (Lucy Boynton) desperately looks up her mom (Katee Sackhoff), an artist whose drug addiction years ago sent Chloe to an orphanage. A horror movie that takes advantage of the old Slavic Baba Yaga myth, but turns the supernatural being into a witch who resides in a creepy old building next to a heavily trafficked road. Moderately engaging, with a few OK shocks thanks to Spanish horror star Javier Botetās performance as the witch. Too much of it is mediocre though, with a weak ending.
