EVERY MAN HAS A DESTINY.
In ancient Greece, Alcides (Kellan Lutz) is betrayed by his half-brother (Liam Garrigan) and sent on a military campaign in Egypt; thatās where he learns that he is in fact the son of Zeus. There were two movies about Hercules in 2014; one of them (Hercules) was fun, but this one is a silly and plastic mashup of Gladiator and 300 in 3D. CGI environs, bloated biceps, a boring cast and very uncool slo-mo effects in the fight scenes sink a film that amazingly asks us to take the characters seriously.
