ONE FINAL NIGHT TO SAVE THE DAY.
When Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) learns that the magical tablet that makes everything in the Museum of Natural History come alive at night is corroding, the race is on to save it. The third film in the franchise is very similar to its predecessors, but still has greater ambition than number two as it explores the history of the tablet and sends our heroes to Britain, a welcome change of scenery. Funny (including that star cameo) and well paced; itās a pleasure to see Dick Van Dyke and Mickey Rooney make reappearances, and thereās a cool chase that takes place inside a Salvador DalĆ painting. Creative ideas like that are needed, because the story is thin.
