Cinematographer Wally Pfister’s directing debut envisions a world where “the singularity”, the moment when artificial intelligence becomes greater than the human mind, is happening. Unfortunately, there are many aspects of the script and people’s actions that are not believable, and not enough razzle-dazzle (or great performances) to compensate for those gaps.
