LOVE THY NEIGHBOR.
When three teenage boys make a deal with an older woman (Melissa Leo) to have a foursome, they have no idea that they’re about to fall victim to a Christian cult. The famously hate-mongering Westboro Baptist Church saw obvious comparisons between itself and the church in this movie and were not pleased. Exploring the dangers of fanaticism and twisted family loyalties, this is a pretty exciting thriller with clear Waco vibes and a compelling Michael Parks performance, but a shootout goes on forever and the film reaches a less than satisfying end.
