ONE HELL OF A RIDE.
John Milton (Nicolas Cage) has returned from Hell to destroy a cult leader (Billy Burke) who intends to sacrifice his granddaughter in a Satanist ritual. In some of his cheapest genre productions, Cage has played different characters but essentially given the same performance; this movie simply can’t be anymore Cage-esque. Wants to be a stylish, cool and laidback action movie with nifty 3D effects, but this outing rarely gets one’s adrenaline pumping and Cage needs a better adversary.
