Star Trek: Into Darkness

startrekintodarknessAfter an attack on Starfleet headquarters in San Francisco, the main suspect (Benedict Cumberbatch) hides on Klingon territory and is pursued by a vengeful Kirk (Chris Pine) and his crew. An icy Cumberbatch is wickedly entertaining as the head villain. The script connects with episodes of the original Star Trek as well as Star Trek II (1982), sometimes deftly, sometimes lazily.Ā
