Linda Hanson (Sandra Bullock) wakes up to learn that her husband (Julian McMahon) has died in a car accident; the next morning he’s alive and well… The director’s first Hollywood flick is a humdrum thriller about a woman who has premonitions of death and tries to save her husband from his seemingly inevitable fate… but it never kicks into high gear. Meant to be touching, but almost turns unintentionally funny with its Final Destination-typeĀ finale and Bullock’s increasingly tired “yes-I-know-he’s-dead-but-he-won’t-be-tomorrow” look.
