BEHIND EVERY LITTLE FISH IS A GREAT WHITE LIE.
A wrasse called Oscar becomes mistakenly known for having killed a shark; as his popularity rises, he befriends another shark, Lenny, whose father won’t let him be a vegetarian. One of the Shrek directors is behind this comedy; expect a lot of pop cultural references (not least to Jaws and The Godfather) and jokes aimed at young and old alike. A popular concept, but the story is simple and the film has nothing out of the ordinary… except a fun cast. Jack Black is perfect as the friendly Lenny and cineastes will get a kick out of Robert De Niro and Martin Scorsese.
