Theresa Jones (ZoĆ« SaldaƱa) brings boyfriend Simon Green (Ashton Kutcher) to meet the folks… but she hasnāt told them that heās white… and he hasnāt told her that he just lost his job. A comedy that borrows the structure from Guess Whoās Coming to Dinner (1967), but reverses the racial tension. Definitely a pleasant experience, the film is nevertheless not as interesting and controversial as the original, and not very funny either. Kutcher is outshone in every sequence by Bernie Mac, and the supporting cast is quite charming.
