YOU CAN’T SEE HIM, BUT YOU CAN FEEL HIM.
After the mysterious death of a scientist, Seattle cop Frank Turner (Peter Facinelli) and his partner are assigned to protect the victim’s colleague (Laura Regan); their foe turns out to be invisible. Six years after the Paul Verhoeven thriller came this direct-to-DVD, in-name-only sequel where a new invisible scientist is wreaking havoc. Christian Slater is (obviously) not on screen much and the rest of the cast give serviceable performances at best, but the effects aren’t bad and the story holds up reasonably well. Still, at least Verhoeven left his mark on the first film; this one is anonymous.
