savedMary Cummings (Jena Malone), a good Christian girl who attends a Christian high school, gets pregnant and starts realizing what kind of hypocrites she hangs out with. Itā€™s easy to sympathize with a movie that targets Christian fundamentalism, but director Brian Dannelly goes too far. After spending a lot of time making the right moves, attacking the fanatics in an intelligent and cheerful way, Dannelly becomes too loud and predictable, even turning the main hypocrite (Mandy Mooreā€™s character) into a stereotypical clown. Too bad.
