THEY MISSED EACH OTHER. THIS TIME, THEIR AIM IS BETTER.
When Nicholas Oseransky’s (Matthew Perry) new wife (Natasha Henstridge) is kidnapped by Hungarian mobsters, he looks up his old hit man buddy (Bruce Willis) again. The sequel to the The Whole Nine Yards (2000) reunites most of the cast; one clever idea is having Kevin Pollak play the father of the mobster Willis killed in the last movie. Perry does tickle my ribs and there are amusing moments, but the script is often lacking in class, and the pointlessness of this sequel is jarring.
