DECIDING WHICH WOMEN IN THE WORLD HE LOVES MOST IS DRIVING HIM OUT OF HIS MIND.
Sculptor David Fowler (Burt Reynolds) is seeing a psychotherapist (Julie Andrews) to figure out why women have such a profound effect on him that it threatens to ruin his life. This remake of the 1977 François Truffaut film belongs in a category of mostly inferior Blake Edwards movies that deal with his love of women and troubling midlife crisis. A perfect part for Reynolds, this slow-moving romp wants to say something serious but never succeeds, turning instead to pointless slapstick.
