JACK FROST IS GETTING A SECOND CHANCE TO BE THE WORLD’S COOLEST DAD… IF HE DOESN’T MELT FIRST.

Musician Jack Frost (Michael Keaton) dies in a car crash, but returns the following Christmas in the shape of a snowman built by his 12-year-old son (Joseph Cross). Yep, it’s a weird premise, but I don’t think kids will mind because the film is pretty sweet; parents are more likely to ponder the eeriness of having your dead dad turn up as a snowman. That creature looks OK, but the story turns silly and all the snowman puns grow tiresome. Keaton and Cross are both likeable as the father and the son.
