Will and Elizabeth (Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley) are about to marry when suddenly they find themselves facing the death penalty and once again getting mixed up with Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp). Expect sword fights, one-liners, betrayals, sea monsters, undead pirates and high spirits… but unfortunately this sequel looks more like The Mummy Returns rather than The Empire Strikes Back. Depp is fun, the action is entertaining in the way comic books are, but the movie is way overlong and there are no real surprises.
