rentA year in the life of a group of bohemians in New York in the late 1980s; AIDS, drugs and art are three important factors in their lives. This movie version of the popular stage musical puts its weaknesses on display. Thereā€™s far too many songs and only one of them, “Seasons of Love”, is genuinely memorable, the thin story goes on too long and the scriptā€™s earnest ingredients fall flat. The original cast returns (Rosario Dawson is new), but theyā€™re ten years older than their parts.
