NO DAY BUT TODAY.
A year in the life of a group of bohemians in New York in the late 1980s; AIDS, drugs and art are three important factors in their lives. This movie version of the popular stage musical puts its weaknesses on display. Thereās far too many songs and only one of them, “Seasons of Love”, is genuinely memorable, the thin story goes on too long and the scriptās earnest ingredients fall flat. The original cast returns (Rosario Dawson is new), but theyāre ten years older than their parts.
