THE KLUMPS ARE BACK!

Professor Sherman Klump (Eddie Murphy) has a crush on Denise Gaines (Janet Jackson), but Buddy Love is still a part of him; the great lover must go before he ruins everything. What was brilliant about The Nutty Professor (1996) was Murphy; in this sequel, he’s the whole show and that’s all there is. Portraying the entire Klump family, he works hard for the money, but is it so damn hard to provide some variation to the cheap fat jokes, sex jokes and farting? Occasionally funny, this loudmouthed comedy is nevertheless a mess.
