WHAT IF FINDING THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE MEANT CHANGING THE LIFE YOU LOVED?
Architect Alex Whitman (Matthew Perry) has a one-night stand with a photographer (Salma Hayek); her subsequent pregnancy leads to marriage… and then the problems begin. At the time of the film’s release, she was known mostly as a Mexican babe, he as the dorky guy on Friends. Neither one had much experience from headlining movies, but they’re worth a look here, providing moments that are both romantic and funny. The story is cute, but runs out of steam after a while as its issues are not handled to satisfaction.
