EVERYTHING YOU TRUST. EVERYTHING YOU KNOW. MAY BE A LIE…
A thriller that stays unpredictable enough āĀ until the last fifteen minutes that echoĀ Jagged EdgeĀ (1985) and its very popular ending. Still, it is an entertaining movie and Ashley Judd excels as the strong-minded attorney whose husband (James Caviezel) is arrested and accused of slaughtering several villagers during a military operation. Anyone would be sensible enough not to represent oneās spouse in court, but this is a movie so donāt expect Judd to be second chair. Her acting strength is what carries the film and she is ably supported by Morgan Freeman as a boozy lawyer with a bike.
