NOBODY KNOWS WHERE SHE IS. NOBODY IS COMING TO SAVE HER.
Malin (Sofia Ledarp) is moving out of the city, but as she makes her way up north, she’s bothered by a man (Kjell Bergqvist) in a jeep; soon, her worst fears come true. The director’s feature debut makes good use of its forest locations and tries to match the creepiness of the superior Dutch thriller Spoorloos (1988). Ledarp is fine and Bergqvist quite effective in a type of role that he rarely plays. But it took six years to get the movie off the ground, so the plot holes should have been tended to; also, the last half hour is running on empty.
